The weather in Senegal is generally hot and humid year-round. The hottest months are February, March, and April when temperatures can reach up to 34°C (93°F). Rainfall is common during the months of May to October and during this time heavy rains can occur. During the dry season from November to April, there is very little rainfall. The temperature during this period can sometimes drop as low as 10°C (50°F).
