According to deluxesurveillance, Flowery Branch, Georgia is a small city located in Hall County, about 50 miles northeast of Atlanta. It is part of the Gainesville-Flowery Branch Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 5,679 at the 2010 census.

Flowery Branch was first settled in the 1840s by settlers from South Carolina and North Carolina. The town was named for a nearby branch of the Chattahoochee River that had a profusion of wildflowers growing along its banks. In 1874, the Central of Georgia Railway arrived in Flowery Branch and brought with it increased commerce and growth to the area. The town was incorporated in 1889 and continued to grow throughout the 20th century as industry moved into the area.

Today, Flowery Branch is known for its small-town charm and friendly residents. It has a quaint downtown area with several locally owned businesses such as restaurants, boutiques, antiques shops, art galleries, and more. Outdoor activities are also popular in Flowery Branch with two lakes nearby – Lake Lanier and Lake Sidney Lanier – providing plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking and more.
