KS digital is the second brand of active speaker specialists Backes & Müller, and to enter new markets as the cheaper alternative to the B & M products. The name originates in the Studio products of the House: under KS digital been the studio monitors from B & M pioneer Johannes Siegler markets.

Do you know what is a second wine? A wine of noble and expensive mansions, which is sold not under the original label, but at a better price-performance ratio with a different label. Just this idea now realised the manufactory Backes & Müller. Not that the active speakers by KSD sonically stand back behind the expensive series, but on housing design and manufacturing you can save without sacrificing the sound. The top model with the simple name of 2030, which is exactly placed with 5500 euro pair price, where the smallest B & M-compact box only starts making the surcharge in the HiFi sector.
A look at the data sheet will be astonish experts: by 2030, which is equipped with a fully digital crossover and time corrective FIR filters, as she is a B & M only from the BM15.
